I sell some of that product for a living and couldn't agree more with your quote.



So I don't entirely hijack the thread, I will ask the question:



Do the filter minders work enough to bother replacing them? Mine didn't move an inch in the 6 years it was on.

In stock form I never mover the minder. BUT, when the twins went on, I put it in the intake pipe and WOW ! even with the Amsoil 4510 (which did fine with the HTBG and HX40 singles) I could pull it fully in in ONE high boost push!:-laf

Good info when looking at filters!! I would LOVE for manufacturers to list CFM on their product!!!#@$%!Anyway, an AFE Pro dry filter is on now and only pulls the minder slightly @ 55psi so far so good!

So, yes the minder DOES work!

I wouldn't worry about that thing. Just look at your filter every 6 months or so.

Nope, no Good Humor here. I am a woodbutcher by trade. My quote is something Eric Medlen a top fuel drag racer who drove for John Force used to say. He was killed last year in a testing accident in Gainsville.



I really don't need the filter minder for its intended purpose. I have a new afe stage 1 and don't know what else to plug the hole with.

Thanks, thought I'd give it a shot. For the past 11 years I've sold and delivered ice cream. All the Good Humor packages say Green Bay.

I went dry also. The Super Stock IRF just was too restrictive. And I am not heavily modded.
