If you're going to take shots at TDR, at least get your facts straight. Messages are not filtered for content being posted here. For one thing, the software has no way to figure out what the content is about. For another, as we've noted in the announcement section of the site non-subscribers (ie, free members like you) do not have posting privileges here - only paid members can. Also, a small number were locked out for violating the rules multiple times.

If you want to post in the political section, along with other paid member content privileges, step-up and join.

Additionally, if you're going to talk about the 1st Amendment and Civil Rights, it would be a good idea to actually understand the 1st Amendment.

The 1st Amendment applies to the actions of the government, and in limited cases, some companies when it comes to Constitutionally protected groups (for instance, a company can't tell you not to wear a necklace with a cross). But overall individuals and companies can set the rules on their property.

TDR is a privately owned business, and TDR's rules apply. TDR has every right to enforce those rules - it's property rights come first. Nothing is suppressing your rights to free speech on the internet - you are free to create you own platform, blog, or whatever, and saying anything you want - and also determine what is allowed there.

Big Nasty was given 8 strikes under our 3 strike rule, and that's in the past two months alone. It had nothing to do with his political opinions - it had everything to do with personal attacks towards others. He was given every reasonable opportunity to start following the rules, and we were more than fair.
