So, who's expecting a White Christmas? No chance of the white stuff in a lot of the Pacific NW, but let's take a poll and see how the rest of the USA is stacking up for a white holiday :D

They say we are supposed to get just enough (1") to consider it a "White Christmas. " If so, this will be one of the first that we have had in probably 5-10 years.

Not much of a chance.

I'm too close to the ocean.

However... I will be at work, about 30 miles west of here. It ought to be neat when I leave work at 18:30 hrs.

Does an inch on the ground count as buried in it, that's all we have in lower elevation Montana.

Oklahoma City is supposed to have their first white Xmas in 27 years tomorrow.

It's a rare event to have snow in the coastal area of Humboldt County. However, you can almost always see snow about 15 miles away from here.

We got 12 inches of the white stuff since yesterday afternoon. Should melt by this weekend since it will be up to 47 degrees by then. Might just stay in until they get the rodes clear, it's not me but the other guy I worry about. The CTD is safe in the garage ;)

I don't know If I would call it being barried in snow but we have 15" right now from just a couple of storms. We need to water bad down here. Down in the valleys (Ogden, SLC) they only have 2" or so...

It's snowing in DC as I type... . but it's supposed to change to freezing rain later. :(

edit @ 1900hrs... ... . still snowing

JR2, how do the weather guys get away with a forecast picture like this when the sun doesn't make it above the horizon?

1200 German Mountain Time...

Looking out the window, it's greener than green out there. I miss the snow. :-laf

For me, a brown Xmas in the desert would have been a lot better. How many people can say they built a sand castle on Xmas? lol When I go this summer, I will make a sand design with the big C for Cummins and I will try and do up a TDR drawning in the sand.

Does driving through some yester day on Christmas Eve count?? I drove through some around Stephenville, TX, and it was coming down!! As far as here at home, Nope. No snow.

When I went to sleep last night around 1:00 am there was hardly any snow left on the ground. Woke up this morning and look what I found! #ad
