Am I not seeing something here? Looking on the Dodge website, I'm seeing a 4500 Chassis Cab with a 192. 5" wheelbase. The Megacab with a 6'3" bed has a 160. 3" wheelbase. Add 23" to get from a 6'3" bed to 8'2" and you would only need a 183. 3" wheelbase. That's 9" shorter than the CC. The current Quad Cab Long Bed has 160. 5" wheelbase. I'm not sure how much longer the MC is than the QC, but I know it is NOT 32" longer. I've seen a lot of comments about "How long that truck would have to be" and "How would you turn that thing around"? Well if the CC at 192. 5 can turn around, I'm sure one could do just fine in a truck 9" shorter. Why cut and stretch frames when it seems there is already one plenty long enough? Is it just as simple as "You can't get a CC with a MC"?

Bingo

Dodge could reach a whole new market I think by doing just what you say.

Heck, I would love a Mega cab with a custom flatbed for my next truck.

I'll take it in a 5500 4X4. Oo.
