Will HID melt my foglight housing?

upgraded the projector low beams to HID. AMAZING difference, and pretty simple. Now I want better bulbs in fogs.

Fogs are a reflector housing so you should use LED bulbs rather than HID. HID will have a lot of glare to oncoming drivers.

Better yet you should get real LED fog lights rather than doing any bulb retrofit. You will get better pattern and won't blind oncoming drivers that way.

Same here, buy whole units, fogs are easily available and not too expensive.

Morimoto are top notch quality.
I'm running their headlight setup and would buy it instantly again.
I think you can't go wrong with their fogs.
