I bought my truck new ordered from Dave smith in 98 it's a 98. 5 24V 4X4 replaced the VP when it was 5 years and 6 months old with 90K miles. NO Dodge would not fix it. So a month ago truck acted up again going over pass not sure if it VP or fuel pressure so decided to put a fass pump on it to see. While looking on here about upgrades and searching for parts I seen that Gomer's/USdieselparts.com in Missoula Mt was having a dyno day and everything was on sale so me and my 2 boys left Seattle Friday night to go watch and see the trucks that were there about 50 went through the dyno. Talking to John one of there parts guy's and Jason who builds injector's for them we decided on a set of 75HP inj. ,Fass platinum 150,Edge juice w/att and an S&B intake. Price $1647 out the door. Was a great time watching all the trucks meeting all the great people at Gomer's. On Tuesday I found out on here that I needed the new connector tubes because of my engine ser. # called John at Gomer's had them the next day they came out of Seattle for $13. 50 each. $25 at cummins plus tax. So this weekend the boy's and I started installing the parts Sat. we put on the intake Fass and injectors 7 hours later truck was running better than ever (190k on original inj. ) Sunday we installed the Edge took about 3 hours and truck fired right up on off we went for a test drive started on 0 then went to stage 1 drove awhile stage 2 and so on through stage 5 this is where the WOW comes in I cannot believe how much power my truck has I went with the edge because I didn't have guages and with it I do. I want to thank everyone on here who has posted on here I have read hundreds of posts getting ready to do this also all the guys at Gomer's Diesel. Now I know I have to do my transmission! It's only got 25K on it but I have to get a better TC and VB. This weekend I'm putting on an intake elbow and down tube and new inter cooler boots. again Thanks to everyone for your input directly and indirectly. Mark
