Have any of you guys/gals tried/installed any xenon lightbulbs on your trucks? I understand that they are available for the fog lights as well. Are they that much brighter than the halogen? Gee, I hope that they come in Deere GREEN, Oo. That way they would match my undies!:D

I used these on my Taurus and they melted the light socket. Never again. Did I forget to mention that I saw better with the factory bulbs. I am now using the Sylvania Silverstars and am very happy, even brighter than the Piaa super-whites they replaced. :)

Does anyone know if the Sylvanias are available in 80/100 or something stronger than the stock bulbs. I checked at Auto Zone and all they said they could get had the stock- I think they are 45/60's. I wanted more than that. Thanks, Kenny

I have had Xenons in for about 75K miles, LOVE em. Brighter than stock by a little, and it is a nice white light that I like.

I'm using the Sylvania Silver Stars also and really like them. Bright and white. You have to be careful going to a higher wattage bulb or you may notice discoloration on the lense from the heat.

Does Sylvania make a SilverStar replacement for the fog lights (#893)? I was looking at Auto Zone when I bought my headlight replacements, but it looked like the 893 were just a standard bulb and not the SilverStar line.

You can tell the difference, the SilverStars are much whiter than the stockers. The fog lights in comparison with the new headlights have a yellow/dirty look to them.
