My one ton Is pretty plain compaired yours

I don't like the running boards I have fiberglass as they can be bang up very easy. This Is my 95 Scotty Motor Home. I added the hood scoop and a few lights. I got a nice set of rear mud flaps with lights. My wife say the MH looks like a Redneck owns It?She might be right. This Is my 2004 black dually. It a pain to keep clean. Every time I take It out og the garage It has to be clean up before I put It back IN the garage. I am tradeing It for a 2006 IN two weeks when My new truck comes In.

And how would you get a set of those?

Yeah, I like those lights on the mudflaps too - had them on the '91, really looked nice at night. I got mine at Kragen as I recall, they are available in various lengths for different applications, like running boards, etc.

Thanks!

Those are made by Grizzly - you can probably locate them in the more popular truck accessory stores, or perhaps a web search. They mount easily and have been quite sturdy - we like them because the increased drop makes it easier for us older coots to get in and out of the truck.

How much of a increased drop do they have? I have been looking at steps but wanted ones that are lower than most. My buddy got some back country steps i think and they are right at the bottom of the cab and don't provide much relief trying to get up in dodges.

This pic might show the added drop better:

I'd say these are a good 3 inches lower than the more common styles.

Does this count? It's a 1997 12v - the appearance mod happens to look like an old ford crew cab..... :-laf :-laf

Turbo Tim 1:

I did the same exact CB mount with my Cobra 29. Works good, doesn't it?

I also used that CB mount thing out of Genos to mount my Yaesu 857D rig to (HAM) and I have a Motorola scanner mounted to the left of the steering wheel, on the lower dash, right up next to the driver's door. I have a Vertex speaker on the passenger side dash that serves the Yaesu, and a Motorola speaker mounted to the left side of the 4x4 shift box that serves the scanner. Then I mounted a 400 watt power inverter to the right side of the shift box. There is absolutely no room for a middle seat passenger in my truck.

:D

Bob awesome work I wanted to do my truck in Atlantic blue but Now I like the orange. Would that be House-of-kolors tangerine?

Thanks for the compliments guys. Not house of colors, paint is a custom PPG mix. Real close to Trucks TV's project copperhead. The clear however is House of Colors. Pics were taken unfinished, the truck is almost complete and together. I will start a new thread with some before and after shots. The truck is a 98, 12v, 5spd... ... ..... with 50K original miles.
