rotohead that hood is a keeper. I don't think there's tons of Doug Hofeldt's hoods out there, being each was hand made in his garage there in Pocatello ID. He's had a lot of back problems, I'm not sure if he's doing them anymore.

Do you have the stainless version or the plastic one. The plastic one I had let tooth picks come out the side so I had to upgrade. :-laf :-laf

Vaughn, I talked to Doug last yr and he was hoping his kid would take over but after visiting his shop once I can see why nobody would want to build fiberglass hoods. What a chore. My hood has been the best upgrade I've ever done. I'll always be grateful to Doug for the extra effort he went through to help me. I'm a para so installing one of his hoods was not in the cards for me w/o him driving to my house when I lived in Salt Lake City (three times) and installing it himself. First rate guy.

My favorite appearance mod would def. have to be my clear taillights, Oo. I have only seen ONE other truck with them If i ever smashed these or if they were stolen i would be LIVID

ebay... . front corners and tails for $77... its been a year or so though... i saw a pair like ours at SDX last year on a silver sport and the bezels were painted silver too... looked killer imo

I want to say they are WARN and I got them from Summit, but I'll have to check on that. I'm 90% sure I got them from summit though.



The rims are Helo Maxx8's and they are 16x10

You may be right on the flares. I don't really think it matters much because with either brand I still would have had to shave them a touch since I put the 315's on there. After you shave them and paint them and stick them, doesn't really matter a whole lot which brand they are. Don't think you really can go wrong with either one, really. They were flexible, which was a plus in my book because now I know they won't shatter if they ever get hit.



Those Maxx 8's are awesome! I LOVE them compared to the polished aluminum AR Baja's I used to have. Need to get new center caps sometime though because they winter did a number on them. Other than that, I absolutely love them!

Now that's wild because I had 16. 5" baja's before my maxx8's... .



I was trying to help figure out what flares those were because i'm on the market for a set and thought those looked pretty sweet. The only other ones i've seen were red on a dodge and looked like crap so getting to see them in black helps alot. Bushwacker has a set that take the same outline somewhat but aren't the same

3-dimensionally.



I finally hit enough of a job that I can fix and paint my truck and fender flares are very high up on the mod list.

I'm kinda keeping my eye on this thread for ideas I haven't had for my rig.





Ouch From passenger side door and back... From there forward is just as ugly.
