no metrics allowed! Oo.

Then you'll want to take the following Japanese components off your bike: Showa forks, Nissan brake calipers and denso fuel injection and ignition systems. Not start sheet just pointing out the facts.

Nice rigs guys! If I can ever get some pics I'll get em on here.

I have also pulled a 3800lb holiday camper behind me with a 150lb paddle boat in the bed with no issue at all. But then again the truck is rated to tow 8000ish lbs.

This is my new 2012 and the old 2007 Sierra with the "toy" out of the hauler while I set up. This is at Happy Jack campground, Happy Jack,Az

IHC Lakota.jpg

Bought this truck in Dubuque, Iowa last month but delayed going after it until this week because of the Holidays. It is a 2006 IHC 4400 with a DT 466 (set at 300 HP) coupled to a 6 speed Eaton manual trans. Turns 66 mph(GPS) at 1750 rpms. I picked up the truck in Dubuque and bobtailed over to Bristol, Indiana to fetch a new 8316 GLQ Lakota horse trailer going back to the dealership in Ala. Trailer weighed about 13,000# empty. Once I pulled out on to I65 southbound at Indy, and shifted into 6th, I never dropped a gear because of mountains or weight. She is a running little rig!

Truck was bought new by Harley Davidson Corporate to pull a mobile training shop around the country and then once a year to Sturgis for the rally. Bed was custom built for HD and has a hidden 60 gallon gas tank with pump and 10 filler hose and nozzle for fueling bikes. There are also 2 electric winches and 2 bike racks up on the bed. I would guess it cost HD at least $20K to have that bed built and installed.
