That’s a shocking revelation! We go through this almost every year as we start to tear down the snow equipment to fix em all summer. One time we had to throw everything back together to battle a late snow, they never had to go out. It was a good thing because nothing had hub seals as they didn’t come in yet.I did a two year stint as public works director
We got a whole slew of those idiots here in Iowa.I took the position at the request of an acquaintance who was a town council member. The combination of a total lack of knowledge of road building and maint on the part of the majority of the council members along with small town politics drove me to the brink of insanity. A good example is the fact that they denied my budget request for $7500 for plowing contractors but gave the new director money for a new truck and the hiring of another full time employee who had connections with the council. That amounted to approx $90K for the truck, plow, and sander plus $45K for the employee. Do you wonder why I couldn’t wait to get out?
Be careful what you wish for with the weather. Just 2 weeks ago we were complaining about a little snow.

Wow, didn't get anywhere near that at my place . Weatherman said yesterday marked 270 days since we saw 80 degrees and I'm good with that.
