Antlers "UP" all the time! Looks good with a DRW Man sized truck.

I have a hard time driving the newer trucks because of the funky spot mirror. It is not a true convex so the field of view is small. My small convex on my 2nd gen have a bigger view.

Go antlers up and the spot mirror works well. Some with duallies just leave them up all the time. SnoKing

On the way home from Colorado when the truck was new, in Boise, Id I changed lines on a little car in the passengers side blind spot, so at the next truck stop I found these little mirrors and added them to the mirror arms.

I only run 'antlers up' when towing, and yes they work much better when up.

You have to be careful where they are mounted, as when you fold the mirrors the little spot mirror comes really close to the corner of the mount on the door. Fold them in and out and watch the clearance before "sticking" them on.

I installed 3inch mirrors not long after buying the truck. nice fit... then I kick out the factory convex mirrors so I can see the five in a turn.

Great minds think alike!

Thanks, I wanted silver as my first preference, but none around with what I wanted in it. But white works very well, matching the boat and hot summers here in Vegas works. I did have to settle with black interior, but when I found out they were cooled as well, I bought it.

Hate to pop your bubble, they are ventilated. I thought the same when I bought mine.

Vented seats is my FAVORITE creature comfort on our 2017 and 2019 trucks. Nothing like cool backsides while tooling down the road.

Cheers, Ron

Looks like you were at Walllllly HELLLLLLl.....were you by chance grabbing groceries with the 5500? :p
We were at HEB, yep getting groceries. You wouldn't believe the LOOKS when we're out in the 5500... It has the STORM CHASER radome. Had so folks stop DEAD in the street staring at it when leaving. Even the dealer asked what it is. Nothing like the spare in the air! :D

You should have gotten the open array and parked in for and aft to increase air flow over the cab when not rotating looking for storms!!!:cool::cool:
