You know, if I wasn't working hard to modify the rear of the bed to integrate a tire storage well, I'd actually put bug LEDs front and rear on it.

Just another of my many projects pending.

Cheers, Ron

I just found a new option on the 12" screen. In the settings you can program the side mirrors to tilt to the ground when you go into reverse. I allways back up in the parking slots because ease of leaving, espeacilly in tight parking areas. I will tilt the side mirror I need, to see the line or the curb, now its automatic. I cant count how many times, that I was a mile or so, and noticed the side mirror is still in the tilt down position. As soon as you go out of reverse they go back to the memory position.

That feature has been there for quite a few years. Our 2015 has it. However I do not have it turned on.

I found that the amount of tilt from my normal setting, coupled with the spotter being on the bottom did not give a good field of vision. I turned it off, too.

Why this? Peer pressure?
I thought you like it.
After using it a couple of times in the down position, it started to give me vertigo. I've been using mirrors for backing up, since my first 3/4 ton Dodge truck due to the height. And in 04, my first Cummins 04.5 2500 with the Quad Cab, it was necessary to use your side mirrors, of coarse this was prior to backup cameras. So I'll continue to only lower the mirror when I need it, not because of peer pressure. WOW, I thought I was to old for peer pressure, but I guess not, hmmmm.

I drop my mirror when doing this! I tried the function and did not care for it.

I didn’t go over the curb, but I did the same with my DRW. I always back in, because other drivers don’t care, so as to make it easier to leave. I also do the same when backing up my boat, so I can see the trailer tires vrs the curb.
