How Much Weight Can Trucks Actually Tow Video.

Really love this one, debating if it's worth a trip to SC (4hrs) to check it out...

Also, I've found out while shopping for a TT (besides the practical reasons) that I much prefer the looks of those totaling out less than 30ft. Any longer than that and they just look ungainly to me. Weird I know, I guess 26-28ft is the sweet spot in my case.

Nice layout for two!!

My first question after traveling with small bladder capacity people is "Can you get to the bathroom with the slide in?".....

Good question. I will check! Yeah enough for 1 or 2 small children(1 - 4yr old right now) and the dog. By time kid(s) were older we could upgrade.

In case fuel mileage is a factor, that TT will be close to the worst. Horizontal aluminum ribs on the front and square corners kill aerodynamics. Hit a 15 mph headwind and you are looking at 10-11 mpg.

Yeah was thinking about that. The Star Streams are still my favorite looks-wise in our price range so far. Still waiting on some replies to go look at them. I feel like they would get reasonable fuel mileage with rounded end caps.

That is one brand I have never pulled, but I have pulled similar. It would be better than the aluminum, but rounded corners (front and rear) on the sides is the best.

Definitely not a lot in my price range that have much if any aerodynamic styling. Even a lot of the newer ones I have seen don't have much beyond a slanted or rounded nose. Still a lot with the back squared off. Did see some newer V-nose TT's.

The aerodynamic styling costs interior space, period. You already see how hard it is to put a full size queen in and have more than a dining room table (like a chair or couch) in a box that's less than 25' inside.

I know everyone has an opinion and here is mine: Pick the best layout and best condition for the price, and worry about aerodynamics last.

I survived pulling one with a gasser then my 00 diesel ram.

Just thought I'd add a nice bargaining technique that works well for me... have the cash and negotiate. It's a buyers market this time of the year.

Cheers, Ron

Yes sir, will have the cash
Not super worried about the aerodynamics, it's on my list but way down behind layout, condition etc...
We usually stay within 3 or 4 hrs of house but may take some longer road trips eventually. Outer Banks/Maine/NH/Vermont.

Nice 09(08?) R-Vision Trail Lite 26RK in SC we may go look at. Love floor plan, touch under 28', already has 15" tires.

I like that one...Number 1 reason?? Two entry doors...

Yes, be ideal for us when little ones are sleeping. Also - full size queen, and real door to master. 8500 GVWR
It checks a lot of boxes, not sure when we will have time to ride down and look. About 3hrs south of us. It will probably sell quick.

One question - will I need weight dist. hitch with this? Never pulled/owned a trailer that needed one.
