Ron, If you're going to remove the spark plugs why not just put new ones in at least you probably will never need to change again, just a suggestion. Good luck removing exhaust bolts, try using penetration lube first.
That Sears meter looks very good works great on older vehicles.

Just so happens I have this Sears Engine Analyzer which coincidentally, I purchased in 1978.

I have the same one, also purchased in '78.

I have the timing light from that era, but I had a Sun dwell tach that gave up the ghost long ago.

Sears must have sold a ton of these. Mine has a built in advance scale, which is handy.

Here's mine... Sears USED to be the BEST for purchasing repair parts for their tools, but they had nothing to fix it.

I have a Sun somewhere that has adjustable timing... nice little feature.

Had original packaging for both until I left them out working on my former 70 Monte Carlo, and wife tore em up a threw in the trash. My bad.

I bought all my tune up tools about 10 years after y’all did. I used to drool at all this stuff while walking the craftsman section at sears. I guess the Penske stuff was from Kmart. Me? I have a Mac Tools inductive light with the detachable cord, and a Fluke 88 for a tach/ dwell. Def not as cool as your stuff!
One thing I’m on the lookout for is a Sun distributor machine so I can curve up distributors. That’s one thing that’s getting harder and harder to find someone to do nowadays.
Ron, throwing a nice advance in that smog dizzy will really wake up that 360. Also needs a air door tweaking on that thermoquad. BUHHHWAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

I haven’t seen one of those since VoTec class in the 70s.
Some of the guys I know today swear by Pertronix distributors. More spark and a good curve.

Greased all the front end, went after u-joints and idiots installed them wrong...Instead of installing the grease zerk on the drive shaft ends, they installed them on the yokes on the rear end and transmission... so you can't get a grease gun on them.... guess they never got greased except what was in the u-joints from the factory. Plan is to grind down the nozzle of the grease gun on two sides to see if I can get it to seal on the zerk… if yes no problemo, if no, I remove they drive shaft, rmove the u-joints, and reinstall them correctly. Doh! I'll let y'all know if it works tomorrow.

Many thanks... my needle nose extension worked GREAT. There is goodness in buying STUFF you may need one day. My wife will ask me sometimes what are you buying that for and I'll answer I don't know, but one day I'll need it and I'll HAVE it..

Gonna leave her in the air for now... Gonna finish vacuum lines and manifold heater. thinking about sanding the frame and repainting it, the rear axle, and front end parts. Rebuilders did a crappy job of it.
