The B&W hitch won't work with the puck......square peg...round hole....

Guess he did oil and fuel filter change at 9k. He had to twist arms they said he didn't need to. Thanks for the psi changes

Be aware the 2018 truck's owner's manual calls for 6 month oil changes. It's a keep the warranty question above all as reasons as to why are otherwise not clear. Also towing calls for 20K axle oil changes esp. as the OEM oil is not known to be that good. This are a couple big differences over the older rigs so check that owners manual section out.

The ball for the OEM GN has the latch built into it. It works differently than the B&W turnover ball.

It may sting, but the puck system is superior to anything else. 100% of the weight is directly applied directly to the frame, and the bed isn’t touched. It makes for a solid towing connection.

You can buy just the base for the Companion, and re-use the head.

OK. I would just buy the B&W GN but no sense in that if you don't need, although it would be the cheapest route.
If you have the tow prep TFucili has the next most economical plan - buy the puck base and reuse your head.

Maybe they have been. Maybe there’s not been enough failures within their sample size to show up yet. Perhaps there have been some issues, and perhaps Cummins / Bosch are working on a solution, and.....guess what....they’re currently in another research / testing phase?

Tell me.......when was the last time you saw a thread appear on TDR from a member proclaiming how great his truck was, and how many additional members chimed in of their problem free trucks?

ANY forum can essentially be a venue for folks to gripe, complain, or whine, oftentimes with their first post or first thread. IMO......this more than elevates somewhat skewed results as to the ACTUAL numbers of the initial complaints.

Not saying the current CP4 issue isn’t real.....just saying that forums can certainly skew results, then others wiggggggggg out, then it’s like the CA wildfires soon.
