2015 ram 3500 6.7L wont charge, goes into batter saver mode

Help!!!! 2008 Ram 3500 6 Speed DOA

Hello,
Many questions to ask first :
Does your truck have some kind of power pack unit on it ? Mine has a Banks power pack. Disable it, and put all plugs back to factory.
I also installed an exhaust brake, Banks also. Originally, I did NOT remove the plug from the little controller, that is mounted under the dash.
If you have other "Modifications", disable them.
Are your batteries still in good shape ? If somewhat tired, better think of getting new ones. That will effect voltage readings.
What year is your ride ?
What state are you in ?
If your in "The People's Republic of California", "They" want your truck 3" thick !
Check those things first.
These remedies are what I did, and it fixed the problem.
Oh, be darn careful of any "Re-flashes", as they "May" do more harm than good.
Good luck, and I hope you find the problem.

Hey pfmoale, cool your still on here, I noticed you hadn't been active in a while so thanks for coming on to respond. I understand what worked for you now, I wasn't quite sure what you meant by the plug under the dash. You meant a tuner plugged into the OBD2 port right? And also the installation of an exhaust brake. Anyway, no I have no tuners installed or any other modifications installed. Yes I live in the Republic of Commi-fornia like you. Im in san diego. This is just crap having to jump through these hoops to get a smog. Im on the verge of looking into registering it in another state to avoid this crap although not sure what that would entail as far as inspections and such. I do have a relative in Arizona so thats not too far but unsure of their smog laws. Anyway, yes I am a little afraid to do the re-flash as you mentioned. I have heard good and bad. So I am currently stuck with one readiness monitor good and two not ready(comprehensive component and misfire). What really puzzles me is I can't believe there is not more people aware of this problem with a fix. I have posted on 4 different Dodge Ram Forums and nothing.

Mike, I know this is SO frustrating !
I had to take my ride to the dealer, so as to have "The paper", stating that I did take it to the dealership. $150 just to say, "Yep, your monitors haven't passed yet". Dealer also said, "You have to run the truck for about 2,000 miles, so it knows what to do".
WTF ??? I have to spend lots of $$$ for fuel, PLUS put unnecessary miles on the truck is pure BS !
I do NOT have a tuner, nor is anything plugged into my OBD2 port/recepitical.
I read that you have 2 monitors not passing. I only had 1.
Please tell me your batteries are good.
Haven't been on the forums for a while.
I thank all the contributors for helping me try to figure out my problem.
There's going to be a LOT of check and verify operations.
Yes, be careful of any reflashing.
Keep track of what you have done, so when someone suggests something, you can say, yes, I have done that already.
Keep asking questions, and I hope some more posters reply too.
Peter

Peter, this is what I am confused about, you posted this when your truck passed smog. "Remove the plug from the little controller unit from where is is mounted, under the dash, next to the steering wheel."

Mike, sorry, when I said I unplugged "The plug", it was the little plug, that plugs into the small controller, that controls the Banks exhaust brake, and is (supposed) to be mounted under the dash, next to the steering column.
Unplug all aftermarket items, so as to return to stock...........until you get it passed.
