December 07, 1941 - Never to be forgotten

Just can’t quit? Maybe you need some help. Come on admin, give him what he wants so we don’t have to watch and listen to a grown man whine and cry. What’s that line? “It’s better to burn out, than to fade away...”

^^^ This exactly why so many people have left TDR. Before too long BigPapa will be the only one left. Hope enjoys posting and answering his own threads.

Did not mean to offend anyone... I removed the offensive term

I am simply sick and tired of hearing how "I am saving the planet" with my coal powered car that uses lithium batteries mined and made mostly in China.. Yes I know some are made here but not the bulk and as there is no plan for recycling and lifecycle for the batteries; we walking towards the next environmental problem.

No, Europe is working hard on that because there all that stuff has to be recycled by law.
Landfills are gone for a decade by now.
Also they want to reuse all these expensive rare earth metals, it makes sense to do so.

Europe has a lot of it's power generated by Nuclear unlike the US. So you EV people feel good about Coal, Natural Gas and Hydro that is killing Salmon powering your so called "Clean and Green" vehicle.

This BS about weather being worse, don't think so.
You forgot to mention the part about trying to teach birds that there is a no-fly zone around all those wind mills.

I do not think there has been a new dam built in Washington since I was a kid fishing with an uncle all the time, and there were plenty of fish to be had. Then we had Judge Bolt, a State that thought they knew more than anyone else about raising fish in hatcheries and a lot of over harvesting of the resource. Existing dams produce pretty clean energy.

Sweet! No salt on the roads....

nah they put salt, but most down here can't drive in the rain let alone a light glaze, then throw some white dusting in and the whole darn state shuts down... Most of the time you spend avoiding the mistakes of others, I ususally take the Bronco out in the "snow" so I can go around the ones stuck in the ditches.

I guess its BS that the average low / high temp here in NC has risen almost 3 degrees in the last 40y and we rarely get the annual snow in winter like we used.....
I know the current mind set for the greenies and the woke is to re-write history, if they even pay attention to it. There has been several times the earth has been much warmer than it is now, much colder than now, almost completely covered in ice, NO ICE, Carbon Dioxide MUCH higher than now, been lower than now. Everyone needs to do their part to keep the planet clean but all those who are spending their lives worrying we are killing the planet need to climb off their high horse. Automobiles were not around the last time Co2 levels were TWICE as high as they are now. Stop driving period, stop using your computer, your cell phone and your electricity if people think its that bad and they can actually do something about it. You notice its the well to do hypocrites that incite these folks and terrify children who dont know any better while they are the biggest offenders? Control, they are doing great at it. Especially by degrading our education system to almost non existence.

Not trying to be political here, just clarification. The question is not weather the climate is changing, it is whether it is changing because you continue to drive your diesel truck. Then it becomes political when someone may wonder what kind of person drives a diesel truck if.......... (not taking a shot at anyone, just explaining the situation)

Agree, but the GREENIES would remover every single one if they could.
