After having and automatic for 9 years its time to dump it. In a diesel truck I am not compatible with an automatic. So I am going to swap out my 48re for a NV5600. Truck is a early 2004 and does not have all the computer stuff and emmisions 2004.5 and up has. The electrical has more in common with a 2nd gen than a 3rd gen truck.
So I picked up a really nice NV5600 which already had a new South Bend clutch dual disk clutch and SB hydraulics. have the steering column, transfer case, front drive shaft, petals, console stuff, crossmember, and a lot of other stuff. I am missing the correct rear driver shaft.
So here are my questions,
anyone have a rear manual 4X4 four door, 8 foot bed drive shaft they want to sell?
Can someone send me a picture of the shifter hole in the floor and maybe some measurements?
and of course any words of wisdom besides don't do it.
Motor has been greatly upgraded, please see signature.
