Does my 2022 3500 ho have them . What do I need as replacement batteries when I’m ready. Zero in Anchorage for a few days. Snow tires and battery’s are what we are talking about now. 39 inches of snow. I do like winter

Check with Walmart as they have the Maxx series which has a 4 year warranty for a good price! Their H7's AGM's here in the lower 48 are selling around $180. They should be AGM as most newer vehicles have been using to help with the off gassing and corrosion issues. @Turbo Terry, You can send some of that snow my way to the Mid Atlantic! We've been short on snow fall for a few seasons. Be safe and enjoy it with your favorite meal of Moose stew and your highball! (Your words other then highball, bourbon was yours) Aren't you hooking your batteries to a tender to keep them in shape?

Currently running the Walmart Everstart batteries, for the money, and warranty they can’t be beat . My next ones will be the AGM’s from Walmart .
 
I like the Odyssey Extreme. the 34R has the terminals where my 2013 needs, but you would need to contact Odyssey to see if that size is what they recommend.
 
I have an onboard battery maintainer plugged into a heavy duty Y cable so I can charge my battery and have the block heater going.

It's actually the same charger I've been using since my days of my 2002 5.9l. That little charger keeps on choochin right along.

Did the same thing on my new EcoD, have the Y cable and have both the charger and block heater out to one cable from the front of the truck.

I currently got a fresh (replaced last month) Duralast Platinum AGM in my EcoD. Wish it had two batteries like my Cummins did, but on the bright side, it does save me money -- one less battery. hehe

I recommend AGM because of the very high charging current the Cummins drops out.
Not every battery likes to be charged with up to 15.5V at great cold.

And seriously you have one (1) year old battery's and think about to replace them.
That can't be real.
 
It used to be the oem had one of the best sets of batteries. Many threads on here of 10 year (or close to it) service life which is incredible. The batteries that have been shipping out since 2019 have been lasting 2-3 years. One morning you will go out to your truck hit the button and just get a “click”. Your time is up.
I still have original ones in my ‘19 that has 22k miles on it. The truck really only gets driven for camping season, to haul the camper to our destinations then our daily explorations from said campsites. When it’s not on the road doing that it’s parked in the garage on a battery tender. I may replace them next year knowing what I know, so we don’t get stranded at a trailhead in remote New England while going on a hike or other adventure.
 
Here's a good one. When I bought my new to me 2020 EcoD, a lot of brand new 2022-2023 cars and trucks were not starting on the dealer's lot. Wasn't just my dealer. Go to find out after doing a tad bit of looking, the batteries in those new cars were dated as far back as 2019!

Then from the vehicle and batteries sitting around, the batteries would develop a deep discharge and wouldn't be able to take a new charge. So the dealers had to swap out batteries left and right.

Stellantis blamed it on the pandemic, which sounds about right.

FWIW, my 2020 EcoD had the OEM battery from 1/2020 and the DOM for my truck was 10/2020.

My Duralast is dated 8/2023, and I put it in 10/2023. Much fresher.

Another reason I'd never buy a hybrid or EV. Batteries do not like sitting around.

Heck, my 2000 Dodge Dakota only gets driven 250-300 miles a year. Been doing that since 2004. Other than replacing the oil, coolant, battery, and other odds and ends as needed, an EV/Hybrid would never be able to do that. I would probably have been through 3-4 sets of those expensive battery packs that cost $10k each.

The East Penn batteries in my truck are from early 2017 and still seem strong. The truck sits in a garage when not used so I'm sure that really helps.
I did make an impulse buy about two weeks ago. Noco 3000 amp battery booster which is supposed to be good for a 7 liter diesel engine. A lot of money for something I hope I never have to use. I'm getting more paranoid about having jumper cables hooked to my vehicles and stressing the vehicles computer.
