Oh yes. I dont cut more holes than I have to. If you make a bracket for the side of the 5600, then you can position the center pivot anywhere you want allowing use of that factory hole.

Thanks sir.. how do you like your 5600 in yours so far?! Im super pumped to get mine back together
After 100k on it, I still love it as much as the day I installed it 9 years ago.
awesome I overhauled the engine in mine and drove it about 1000 miles pulling lots of loads of hay and my Getrag started making
Noise so I pulled it out put bearings in it and finished the season! Found a wrecked 01 with a low miles and jumped on the 5600 figured it would be way more suitable for my application! Glad to hear you like yours.. what gear ratio axles do you have sir? Mine are 3.54s

The OD ratio isnt that different so not much change lol People assume that because 6 speed vs 5 speed OD is better and RPM drops. It doesnt work that way. The extra gear is between 3-4th.

The extra gear is between 3-4th.

Exactly, which makes the NV5600 a close ratio transmission through all of the gears. Starting out from a stop and picking up speed on a uphill grade with a heavy load is where the NV5600 shines. There are two benefits when operating the NV5600 in the first five forward gears: 1 - less RPM drop when upshifting puts the turbo in a more efficient operating zone, which means less turbo lag. 2 - The transmission output torque will always be higher in the upshifted gear compared to that of the Getrag 5 spd transmission.
