2014 radio dead and other problems -40 on temp reading

Well, I have used search feature and not found anything similar to this. I thought I had read one similar, but cant find.... Anyhow, 2014 Laramie with most of the bells and whistles. just had at dealer for updates before went over 36k miles. now at 39k. Back from vacation and start it and wonderful treat. 8.4n screen is totally dead, never comes on. Other display says it is -40 outside, no heat or a/c controls. Tried remote start, rushed start, etc. no change. Anyone have any ideas what this wonderful little treat is and how to possibly fix it without another trip to dealer as it is now out of warranty. Is this common? Not sure if trying an update will work as the radio never comes on? to top it off, I have about 50 boats to move this week and now no rear view...... GRRRRRR.....

You bought it to work commercially and did not purchase an extended warranty??? I normally do not buy warranties on stuff, however if I get a new RAM I will buy the warranty! SNOKING

Well, unless I lie, wont do a commercial warranty anyway.... At least that's what I was told. Lots of commercial fine print...... Hope someone else has had a problem like this and there is a way to reset or restart the system. A whole lot of things not working, would be hard to not notice! Windows don't work either..... but sunroof and back window will....

While I never tried it or know if it works, I read somewhere you can reset the 8.4 by holding down the volume and browse/enter buttons simultaneously, for five second or something like that.

yes, I have had that work before when it was on but locked up. I did try that, but to no avail. it is not on at all. The lights blink around the fan control and the volume and browse dials blink once about every 5 seconds......
