I think part of the problem why we never got a fix from D/C is D/C can't figure the problem out either.

02 3500 40,000miles, holds straight line but is quite sloppy..... PSC box would fix the problem... ... . $$$$$$$$$

99 4x2, stretched alittle. I've replaced bout everything under front end, still wanders and wears steers badly and too quick. I volunteer to be a test bed to find the solution.

add a DSS

reweld dampner mount (yes it fell off!!!!!!!!!)

2002 dodge had it fixed it with solid steel dodge did not a thing to fix it for me so I did something it cost me just over $1000. 00.

DSS fixed the problem and beefed up the front end. It also helps alot when the snowplow is on

Wanting a Count of how many have had Steering Problems with 2500 & 3500 trucks!

There's been a lot of talk about how to fix etc.

Maybe if we show just how many, then DC will take notice. Remember how long it took Ford / Firestone to put figures together. My father in-law is starting Lemon Law paperwork on his 99 2500 4x4.

I had problem with My 1999 when new and factorey replaced steering box. I only got 12 miles from dealer and went back, they drove It almost wreck the truck. This has been a big problem should have been a recall???????

2001. 5 2500 4X4 QC short bed Many track bars. one set of ball joints, top and bottom both sides. To come soon- psc box, aftermarket steering shaft, dss, rancho steering stabilizer, and 03 trackbar.

new steering box, DT track bar, DSS, Thuren custom heim joint drag link and tie rod, all new bushings, new ball joints, new front rims and tires, 2 alignments (all within 10 months)..... drives like **** still. But not as bad as it used to.
