Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 97... no start, no crank... nothin!

hey folks, it turned out to be the stud that the power cable attaches to... it was broken off clean inside the solenoid.



I mangled my LarryB's diode on installation... see ya $25!

then, while messing with it, the little rubber grommet that the tiny stud is in

came out It has a copper wire spiraled. . attached to nothing



this is the small rubber grommet where the small brown wire attaches...

did I break something? If so, I'd like to fix it before I go to start 'er up



I've been down for kdp, fuel lines, VP/PS pump and many more maintenance items. . I'd like it to start up when I'm finished...

I have been putting off changing the Larry b contacts for a bit. Then I got the dreaded "click" start. . no start. . several times. This morning I installed the new contacts and plunger and it works like a charm. The old contacts looked like they were burned, pitted and worn half way through.
