Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) A/C Compressor Out Again......

A year and a half ago I changed out the A/C Compressor. Now it is out again or rather the clutch is not engaging. The last time the clutch slowly went out. This time it just quit. Seems to me this isn't right. These units should last longer than this... ..... Any ideas? How can I check it?

Check to see if the clutch is getting juice, also check to see if it's grounded good. It could be a pressure switch or maybe a anti- freeze switch that is bad. Maybe it lost it's charge do to a leak. You might think about putting 12 volts to it and then see if it locks up.
