I've checked and topped off the freon.

Ice cold at highway speed.

At a traffic light or in traffic jam, the cab warms up.

Anyone have a thought where I should start looking?

Thx

David...

One of the biggest issues with the 24v trucks and the A/C issue your having is how dirty the radiator is from oil residue. IF you look down in front of the radiator and behind in the fan shroud area you will see a mass of oily build up which does not allow for air to pass through the system and allow the fan to properly cool both the motor and A/C down. Its usually a high mileage truck that is all gunked up and the owner never took the time to relocate the vent bottle. The best way to clean is is to remove it and have it done by someone who does radiator work. You can try to spay it with degreaser and power wash it out but sometimes it may not clean it up.

Another issue which it could be is a leaky evaporator core or bad accumulator. They both are also possibilities for the same deal your dealing with... ... ... Andy
