exterior trailer cleaning

Looking for TT to Rent for Mem Day in VA

Lost my job at Shell. Everything going to far east. Thinking about selling the house and going Rv full time. I am 62, so I am close to retirement. Yeah like anyone will hire a white male over 50 anyway.

I was thinking about buying a couple of acres and a nice trailer or moving into a trailer park. I have 11 acres now. I sure do like my woodworking shop. Hate to give that up. That is the reason for a couple of acres.

I would appreciate any advice on pros and cons and recomendations on trailers. I have a 02 short bed HO 6 speed with an ARE campershell.

Thanks in advance

There are tons of questions, so to keep me from writing a novel, I would prefer if you had some specific questions... ..... I'm not a full timer yet, but have RV'd for quite a while and have researched it considerably. Would be glad to help you out... Sarge

Ditto on what Sarge said,

I am planning full time in 3 - 5 years. Already bought the 2002 3500 CTD, 5er (Alfa 296, 2004), and subscribe to "Workamper" magazine.

There is a whole system of workamping out there. Bottom line you can make about $1k a month and a FHU in exchange for 20 hr / wk x 2 people (ie 40 hr / wk) working at just about any campground, federal parks pay differently, state parks seldom pay. The work requirements vary from store clerk, maintenance, mowing, pool cleaning, reservations, bathroom cleaning, just about anything.

We have found several positions that do not require bathroom cleaning.

Some positions are WAY out of the way. Saw one that you provide a "presence" way out in a dry camp situation in a federal park.

Checkout the mag, also has how to get mail, medical, internet, insurance, and other full time concerns.

Full time set up

If you have the money put up a large building that will hold your RV plus room for a larger RV that you will BUY some day Than Double that space you will have room for your shop and a space for your co-pilot. When you do come home. Then all will be well. As a added benny you can get your RV out of the weather when you are home. Plus you will have full hook up and work on your rig inside. When you are away everything will be inside and safe. This is my dream home if I had 11 big ones to hid on. Good Luck and go for it. The way I see it WE DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH TIME WE HAVE LEFT IN THE BUCKET:) We spend about 9 months a year on the road with 3-4 months in Raymondville Texas when it gets cold up north. ;)
