Can I pile on?
Current daily driver, 2005 Mercedes Benz E320 CDI, is starting to 'creak' when I hit the brakes. 177,000 miles, LF caliper noise, pretty common, gonna just ignore it. I'm noticing a metallic clink over bumps that sounds like it could be related to the subframe. I just put $763 worth of new tires (Bridgestone) on so for now, let the damn thing make noises.
Backup daily driver, 1997 VW Passat TDI, is dead. 299,000 miles, I think it's a relay. It also had decided recently to start misfiring at idle, leak some coolant, and the w/s wipers are stuck on for some reason. Oh, and none of the door locks work.
Primary pickup truck is a '79 F-350 4x4 with a 460 and a C6. It's old enough for a prostate exam and gets 9mpg but looks cool so I keep it.
Backup pickup truck is a 1992 F-250 4x4 with a idi 7.3 and a E4OD. 369,000 miles, it's broken. The transmission is finally unhappy. Surprised it made it this long. It also really needs a new pump, probably injection nozzles, the ign tumbler is a comedy show, and the RR of the box needs more body work after we removed it from the ditch with a shovel. Shovel, like log loader, not manual dirt moving device.
My Toyota Land Cruiser is just sitting there, mocking me. (95 FZJ80 triple locked)
My 4BT Jeep Wrangler project is doing the same. (1992, 4BT, ZF5, Atlas, 44s)
My boat won't start. I've given up on it for this year. Bad fuel, no bueno (Duckworth Pro Steelheader Yamaha 115 jet)
My garden tractor is broke down, belts. (JD GT235)
Work trucks:
-1995 Dodge, 401,000 miles, TCC is locking-unlocking-locking-unlocking. I know there's a quick fix, just have to SEARCH for it. the headliner fell in and the headlight wiring melted, fixed but the headlamps do need an alignment badly. The Toyo M55s are about bald but hoping to limp it along until October when I will be required to replace them. It's my dad's and he has spares so I don't really care at this point.
-2007 Dodge, 271,000 miles, at the moment nothing is broken. No, seriously, it's all good at the moment. It will leave my guy stranded Monday at 0400 now just wait.
My JD tractor (2025R TLB) is brand new, and not broken yet.
My mini excavator has a hyd leak. (JD 50)
My littlecat dozer is great. For now... (Dresser TD8G)
My big cat is really a Cat and is also ok right now because I just spent half the skin on my knuckles, two vertebrae and my life savings fixing the engine. (D7)
My big excavator is ok, but gonna cost me any second I can smell it. (Cat 320)
My little excavator's engine is getting weak. The undercarriage is also just about shot. (Hitachi 160)
My dump truck is running great! Just polished the wheels, tanks, air cleaners, and bumpers. (2007 T800 ISX 18spd)
I don't care about the logs trucks but they are still running so F 'em. (T800s, same as dump truck x2)
My tilt deck is awesome because I just spent $10,000 rebuilding it. (Olympic triple)
I don't know where the lowboy trailer is at the moment.....
