Well I'm stuck on one last thing in regards to being able to install my new DiPricol fuel pressure gauge. I've got all the hoses and connectors, just haven't figured out a way yet to mount the isolator. Now there is a flat metal area on the firewall close to the fuel filter area, that would be perfect. If you look at the picture of the isolator on Danin's website or city muffler, you can see the black plastic mount piece that came with the kit. Unfortunately, they have made a running change , and now just include these little plastic tabs for mounting. The problem is, they don't allow for a horizontal mounting of the isolator, which is recommended. I called around to all the shops and danin and they don't have any left over, all the kits out now seem to have the flimsy metal tabs.

Just checking if anyone out there didn't use it and has it laying around - I'd happily purchase it from you. Otherwise checking if anyone has any ideas of how to come up with another mounting solution for a horizontal mount in that location? disclaimer - I don't have a ton of mechanical skills, or the ability to fabricate anything.

i have a brand new isolater setup that i didn't use on mine. the only bracket on here is a piece of flat aluminum . 090" x 1-1/4 x 2-1/4" with 2 nylon spacers and 4 screws.

you are more than welcome to that piece if that is what you are looking for. i work in manufacturing and have a lot of aluminum material in stock. if you want to fab your own, you can look at whats in stock.

i have been looking for an excuse to meet you. i think you are the closest TDR member to me.

Sounds good I'll shoot a pm over, thanks.

The mounting apparatus that came with my isolator is two separate silver aluminum tabs, that are bent 90 degrees.
