i wrote edge and asked about the truck they said it is 20" wheels but didn't know the name they said something like revolvers tire size was 325's with a 2" leveling kit.

So where do we get pimped out 8 lug 20's ? I want a set.

Is that what they look like on a 4x4? I sould think you'd have to lower them a little to have it look right.

Doug

I wrote them too!

Here was their reply:

"The tire/wheel combo is 325/60/20. The tires are "Open Country Toyos" and the wheels are 8-lug, "Ultra Sport Metal Revolvers". The truck has a leveling kit on the front end which raises the front end about 2 inches.

Thanks! -Dave"

I've heard people on here saying that 20" wheels are a waste and wouldn't be found on a real truck. If I don't plan to do any serious off roading and this truck is basically a street truck to haul and tow stuff, I see no problems with running 20" wheels. After all, that's what the 1500's run if you want that option. I think they look sweet.

Also, I looked at the Toyo website, and they list no specs for that tire yet. I'm not even sure it's available yet. An equivalent size on the Nitto site says it's basically a 33" tire. I priced the 18" tire and it was north of $220. 00.

I think 20's suck... I'd run 22's or 24's if i could...

For everyone who will disagree's info. i am majorly into professional offroad racing, big rims aren't my first choice, but on a street truck they look awesome.

See my Sprewells spinnin'.

Id like to see a truck towing ANYTHING with 22's or 24's... If your going to do crap like that buy a escalade or navigator  . I think those 20's look good. Id like to stick with a 17 or 18 but if i could get 20's for a good price id go for them.

It's not about towing when you go to 22's and 24's... it's about looking cool. Ever seen a one ton truck with Sprewells? nope. it'd be cool. I'm talking from the perspective of these show guys who put 13 TV screens in their ride. Do they need them? nah.

I know what you mean though, but that's not the point. Somebody get a group purchase on 20's going and I'll buy a set.

Do they even make E rated tires for 22's or 24's?

Doug

Well if we can find out the exact wheel on that edge dodge ram id certainly like to get a group buy going on the 20's. ANyone else interested?

I was real interested until I priced a 325/60/20 (35" tire) Terra Grappler-$422 ea. @ discount tire:--) I know I should'nt have been suprised but sheesh. A guy would have close to 4 grand in meats(counting wheels). I guess I'll buy some other stuff first:rolleyes:

I have a sponsorship with BFG for our race team... I don't have the heart to loof, but I'm guessing they don't make any real tires in a 20?

If there is a group buy going on i might bite... let me know.

Doug

Thanks for the responce guys! I have seen a 2nd gen around where I live that has 20's on it , and it does look good. I don't remember what kind of rims and tires they were though, it was early last year that I seen it.

If they are only 33" then that's probaby why it looks like a lift with those low profile tires. The front looked like a 2"spacer, but the back looked like it was lifted a little too.

Yes 20's start getting expensive and the price only skyrockets. :( , Then you have to find tires.
