Replace windshield washer reservoir on 17 Ram 2500

Lost Center Cap

2018 original batteries no start this morning. Have trickle charger on will load test. Probably need new ones . What is recommended? I don't live in severe Temps, start without grid heaters. Haven't had any parasitic draws. Thanks

I just preemptively replaced both batteries in my 2014 with EverStart Platinum AGM's (Size H7) sold by Walmart. They're made by Clarios in South Korea, which is the company that bought out Johnson Controls Power Solutions back in 2019.

Walmart's EverStart Platinum AGM batteries have a 4 year full replacement warranty backed through any Walmart store. They were about $100 less EACH than the equivalent being sold by a local O'Reilly Auto. Oh, and the O'Reilly batteries only have a 3 year warranty.

I also looked into ordering AC Delco batteries online from either Rockauto.com or possibly Amazon, but then I read too many reviews mentioning shipping damage, the impossibility to return them, and the fact that AC Delco batteries are now being made in China. Sorry no.

Thanks for the responses. I think wally world is the way to go. Price and warranty. Had Delco in 04.5 ram, they prorated warranty and didn't last any longer than the previous ones.
Still charging to do load test but I'm sure they are toast.

I had a hard time getting warranty on Wal Mart batteries because Sunday and no one around that could test them. I had to go to work Monday and needed good batteries to do so. So after raising you know what with two managers they finally exchanged them. What a waste of my time.

Batteries Plus offers a 4 year warranty and know to warranty them as a pair. O'Reilly hasn't ever given me trouble with warranty.

Any place can give you a hard time when warranting or returning an item. My local Walmart hasn't given me any issue with any type of return or warranty of a battery that I had purchased for the tractor. I walked in with the battery and print out of the test that was done. Told them they could call me with any issue. They started to play the "don't have anyone to test it" card. I informed them that they must have someone available at all times the store is open if they sell a product with a warranty! Didn't even need to raise holy heck with them!
When the time arrives on the current set, Will get a set from Walmart. Have only had 1 battery give me a problem from them, and I know that has bee a couple dozen batteries over 15+ years, with all the vehicles, equipment and friends that I've helped over the years.

all you gotta do at any Walmart is tell them to get the store manager.. perfect example,I buy a set of tires from WM, purchase lifetime balancing and repairs...
get a flat.. service guys tell me it will cost 20 bucks to rebalance.. I tell him I have lifetime balancing... he says it is still 20 dollars.. so I tell him we have reached an impasse, so he needs to get the Store Manager up here to figure out if lifetime balancing and repairs actually mean what they sold me, at which point he decided I was right, lifetime balancing actually did include rebalancing a tire after a free tire repair..

they'll take care of you if you have a legitimate gripe.. sometimes all you need to do is threaten to gripe to the next level.

OK load tested them after overnight charge. 9 volts, and 10.5volts on load. I'll keep the better of the two for my cargo trailer.

Deka's are my go-to.

the fact that AC Delco batteries are now being made in China. Sorry no.

We're contracted with a distributer that carries ACDelco's at the shop. They are made in Korea.

neither of them are good.
Well went shopping at NAPA . OMG 279.00 for Agm battery. Wally world here I come.
or Rural King if you have one of those close. Sams Club also has good prices.. and sometimes if you search for a group 94R instead of a H7 you will get a better price..

Just confirming that each battery was disconnected and charged separately since it wasn't mentioned in the thread. Also, were they charged overnight with only a trickle charger, or a standard charger to achieve full charge?
Age may be a player, too.
