I'm installing my AirDog pump and need to install a couple of hose splice fittings. What is the best way to seat these fittings all the way in? They are VERY tight fitting. I'm connecting two hoses with the "butt" fitting provided in the AirDog kit.
Pictures are helpful. However, Here is an installation instruction manual. I have done these in industrial applications, butto be honest, its been a LONG time ago. Heres a link!

MAKE sure you fill out the warranty card and mail it in, I found out the hard way that they won't honor your warranty unless the card is sent in, Take care and hope you have better luck out of yours, mine didn't last a year,Monte
Thank you for your quick responses. Greg, I did come across that manual. It is more of a reference guide to Swagelok fittings than a how to. I do appreciate your effort though. I searched the web for over an hour and can't find anything about what I want to do. I have left a note in with AirDog to see what they have to say. Ironically I have access to a Swagelok installation tool at work except it is for end fittings not butt splices. I can use it to install one side but I'm still having trouble with the other.
What about a little heat? When re-packing hydraulic cylinders sometimes we'd put the hard nylon type in boiling water or they were nearly impossible to work with.
