2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Caltracs on 2wd

Anyone ever install CalTracs on their truck? They're basically traction bars. I'm installing a set I got used which were off a longbed 2wd, mine is a SB and I have a little interference with the emergency brake cables. . . the spring bracket hits it. I might be able to bend the mount bracket for the cables otherwise I'm afraid it'll wear through the cable sheath. I should just call Calvert Racing tomorrow & see what they say.
