Truck Camper Tie Down Brackets, welded or bolted?

Detachable gooseneck trailer, like a big truck?

Please Stop using Ply or Loadrange, this two values are out fashioned and also not acurate.

The Load Index, short LI, is the only number you can trust and it is spot on.

No guessing needed if the tire has the capacity or not.

sorry about my incorrect use of terminology, I just wanted to know what the maximum weight and maximum air pressure of certain tires ,to match my old Dunlop's. A LI number doesn't mean too much to me without a chart .( .... the side wall of a tire shows maximum weight and maximum air pressure)

Thats Ok as the LI and the Max. Weight label on the sidewall of the tire is always the same. Must be.
Often there is a double number like 121/118 on it, first is for srw, second for Duallys.

I guess the tire companies are old fashioned and inaccurate. Every LT and St tire I have has a load range letter on them, including the brand new ones on a utility trailer I just purchased. I do agree that ply ratings is from the 20th century.

I like load ranges. At a glance I know how much pressure is needed to max a tire out. I go to the max with every trailer I hook to. The pressure moldings are small and much harder to read. I don't care what the weight rating is since most of the time they are new and empty. If they aren't I don't have the luxury to weigh them.

Well there should never be a tire on axle that isn't rated gor the weight.
Our annual DMV checks this always, so we are sensitive to LI Numbers, so are our tire dealers.

If I still had 19.5's I was going to look away from Toyo. The M608z was a good pattern, quiet, and wore faster than my 17" tires.... way too fast for the price of the tire.

the tires I get will probably age out before they wear out , I want them stable, round ,smooth ,balanced and quiet

Possible; however doing a 5 tire rotation I was down to 6/32 in 25K miles.... not very far.
the 608's with more rubber showing in the tread area are a little different than the 655's,they might afford better wear?
