Friends,
I only lift the vehicles enough to clear taking off the tire, sometimes requires walking it off the lugs. I try not to lift tires either, but do more or less a caveman (in the mancave

) lift, Like Caveman Dan

, where I line wheel in front of axle, sit in front of it (crab style

), wedge my feet under each side, tighten my knees on either side of the tire

, then with feet, knees, and hands lift the tire a couple inches to line up on the lugs. This could also be from a love making manual too

.
I’m going to share a trick a very old tire guy showed me. He uses a steel coal shovel to lever the wheels off and on . ( he also lathes tires to correct the runout) I’ve been using a short handled spade with good results.
Now, fer the bad news... the Centramatics won't work... the outer ring contacts the caliper, preventing rotation. Can't flip the balancer around as the flat side needs to contact the wheel. Called Centramatics and their application expert will call me tomorrow when she get back in. Unless they make one several inches further out to clear the caliper, it won't work.
So, putting it back. Ill let y'all know what Centramatics says tomorrow.
Cheers, Ron
