Who has the AFE Mega Cannon the cheapest out of all the companies that offer it?



Where did all you guys get yours and how much was it?(if you don't mind my asking)

You can get the Scotty 2 air system with the AFE filter here http://www.wildcatdiesel.com/ for $200. 00, according to their site. Maybe even less, say to ask about special pricing if you are a TDR member. I don't have one yet, probably will be the next filter I try.

Is what I paid at "Four to Go" here in Wheat Ridge, CO. Their # is 303-421-5876. I talked to Trish and she said they sell quite a few Mega Cannons to folks out of state. She didn't know why, I told her I heard they where selling them for $135 from some local TDR members on the internet. I was told the $135 deal was when they first started carrying the Mega Cannons. Kind of rips, once the Mega Cannons gained popularity they jacked up the price Oh well, what can you do?



Like I said as of 5/23 they where going for $185, not sure if the shipping and any applicable tax will make it worth your while.

Well I called Davis Distributing first thing this morning and spoke to Tom. They sell the Mega Cannon (w/ filter) for $172. 58 everyday.



Then I called Mr. Bobs distributing and spoke with a guy for about 10 minutes (didn't get his name ) They sell have a discount for TDR members, but its for a complete kit of the Mega Cannon / Prefilter / Cleaning kit..... at a cost of $255.



"Four to Go" is still $185, and the lady said that S & H would probably be $15 (David Dis. said only $6 )



Oh well I really don't need a new air intake till I get a plate in!:-laf

Megacannon

Is the AFE megacannon an oil type filter or just a replacable filter? I want louder, lower EGTs and easier to clean than the amsoil. Is this the filter for me?

It's all those - louder, flows more air (lower EGT's), and easy to clean (just like cleaning a K&N). It uses a light oil to trap the small particles of dust.
