Just inside the forest boundary up Lefthand Canyon, above Boulder is a place people used to shoot. The mess was incredible, despite the efforts of several individuals and groups. The Forest Service finally had enough. They came in, cleaned it up, and posted it "no shooting". Much as I hate to see it happen, I can't blame them a bit.



My own opinion, judging by what was up there, was that people were using it as an illegal dump site. But because other idiots came along and shot at the appliances, furniture, and other junk, the mess was blamed on the shooters and that privilege was lost.

Saturday: Chase a blue 24 valve with topper down 285 from South Turkey Creek, down thru the canyon to C-470. They went South, I went North. Anybody, Bueller, Bueller

Conifer TDR Memeber InThinAir had his ATV with a plow stolen from his yard yesterday. I think he said it was a camo green Polaris keep you eyes and ears peeled.

was that a 4x4 with two guages on the pod, cb antenna(s), tinted windows i believe, and the exhaust modified? i saw that truck up in laramie, wy (looked like he/she was just starting wyotech in september).

I saw (too many to mention) almost every TDR member in the region all in one day! Great turnout at ATS on Sat. A whole bunch of sweet trucks, some stock or near stock like mine and some BOMBED beyond belief! Mine was clean though! Got to have lunch with fkavolski and Nploysa and nephew NIck who will join the TDR soon. ATS is first class all the way and Big A from RMTDR did an awesome job bringing it together after Jeff moved. You should have been there Jeff! Great time!

Spotted a Red 2nd Generatation truck at Royal Gorge Saturday Afternoon. Owner was not nearby but the truck had stickers all over it. We didn't stick around long cuz we didn't want to pay to get in. Just took in the view.

Saw a silver QC with gauges on the A-pillar sitting on the on-ramp for southbound I-25 at Hwy 119 (Longmont) this morning. Appeared to be broke down but no driver was present, or I would have stopped.

Pretty sure that was me. I just got my login today. I'm usually on Colorado4x4.org. If the truck below was it we were going skiing. I also got in a leapfrog game with a Grey or Black SRW truck down the 285 Corridor in between Fairplay and Bailey. We stopped in Bailey cuz we spotted friends from my patrol of Mile Hi.



It's so hard not to get carried away.

BTW--> I'm glad to hear that some of you shooters are cleaning up after themselves and others. The Lefthand Canyon OHV area and ranges are going to be closed within the next 3 years. When we did the cleanup last summer in August we hauled 2 huge dumpsters full of trash out of that place. Within a month the area looked like nothing had been picked up. It's very sad. You guys have to pick up your shells. Bring some trash bags and a snow shovel and take some shells out each time you go if you could. Litterbugs are ruining 4wheeling for those of us that have Jeeps, dirtbikes and other types of OHV's. I'd like to say it's not just the shooters though. There are 4wheelers that give us a bad name too. People that leave parts on the trail and don't tread lightly. High School kids that break bottles everywhere. It's sad.

Snowman, that was me at The Royal Gorge! I am living with the girlfriend in the Springs so I can now take day trips to places like that without spending half the day driving.



First time I had been there and didn't really want to pay $19 a person either but since it was my first time, and they were offering a buy one adult, second half price, and didn't want to drive all the way there for nothing, decided to go.

Cool beans. Very beautiful place indeed. It was our first time driving down as far south as Pueblo. We have only been out here a year and a half. Too bad the Gorge is set up as a tourist trap though. You planning a turbo upgrade? I spy'ed parts in your bed when we were getting the dog out.



I'd heard about the TDR board alot over on CO4x4 but seeing your truck and stickers sealed the deal on my membership.



My rig is posted above. I only have H2 rims/tires a Airraid Quikfit and Hurst Shift handle (dog ate the stocker) so far. Most likely going to do a module or programmer after I buy a trailer and do some Jeep mods.

Oh and by the way. After we left we took the 50 North off of 67. It took us on a dirt road and a cool pass over to Victor, CO and then into Cripple Creek and back to the springs and up from there. You should check that out too if you haven't. Very scenic.

That is my homemade rusty jet engine in the bed. It's a Holset HT3B with a tailpipe on the exhaust end. The big 12x6" can you saw was the burner feeding the turbine. The curved pipe was the burner feed coming from the compressor. Propane and spark are fed through the bottom of the can.
