Does anyone know the best place to get Stanadyne products here in the Denver area?

Why? Do you need a fuel stabilizer?

I asked Christie the other day if you needed any fuel and she said "No, we are still on our first tank" :-laf

I think Wal-Mart carries it.

I know Central Motive Power carries it. Not sure how much. Here's their phone: 303-428-3611 or 1-800-822-4332.

Oh yeah? Well, I asked Pabby... . oh, nevermind. :D

BTW, who here is going to the Cummins Truck Fest at Bandimere on Sunday?

Craig, I'll be there this weekend with the new truck. It's my first year being in town for it, which day would be better??

Well, the Truck Fest is actually just on Sunday. It sounds like Saturday might be pretty good too. I'm only planning on Sunday though because that will be the better day IMO. Maybe I'll see you there.

I think I spotted BDR on Thursday afternoon on C-470 between Lucent an Santa Fe at about 6:30 p. m. Just before a very heavy rain storm over Chatfield. Nice truck!

I spotted a T. D. R. member today on hwy 83 just south of 105(Monument) at about 2:30 p. m. and then seen him again at about 3:30 in about the same spot. You were driving a silver 3rd gen. with a contractors shell with a Kansas Wildcats front plate.

I saw a bright red newer Cummins with lights on the top and TDR sticker on the back window heading south on I-25 just past the Berthoud exit this morning around 8:20. I was in my X.

Since we're friendly with the PSC I thought I'd throw this out there. I don't know if this guy was part of your club but headed south just past 120th on I-25 Monday night I was having a little fun with a Tan F250. He was letting go a huge cloud a smoke. And wasn't too slow for a Ford. ;-) Anyway, we gave some mutual waves for having a nice diesel and went off our own ways.

Steve,

Off the top of my head, I don't know who that is, but I'm glad he was a nice guy. MOST of us are. :)

After all, when you get down to it, it's really all of us against the gaseys. :-laf

The red Dodge with the lights I saw was a pretty pick up. I think he had his cruise control set around 70 or so and I was late for work, so was going a little faster. He was the smart one when I hit Longmont and saw that diesel had gone up to 2. 55. Dropping a Benny to fill up the X is not fun. :(

Once again, I spotted myself in the window reflection of a Ford as I was passing it as though it was stuck in 2nd gear. It was a dark, maybe black colored, lifted Excursion, and appeared as though the driver had big hair but I can't be for sure.

Mark,

I didn't see you but I'll be looking at the end of the month. I was checking out your reader's rigs. Must be rough to be you! Sweet Jeep and yard. One question: Where are the palm trees? Don't you live in Florida?! I hope you had fun here.

Thanks! After that and several business trips, plus a hellish work schedule, I'm finally getting a chance to get caught up on the TDR again. The colorado trip was great! I couldn't believe it was so warm on all the passes in the San Juans that no jacket was required, then I found out it was 105* down in Denver that week.

A buddy from work who was along on that part of the trip with his Jeep & '04 CTD was amazed at the prevalence of CTDs in Ouray--I had to tell him that people out there had to depend on their trucks more than all the frod drivers in FL :D

As for the palm trees, well, there are a few, but my place sort of gives a hint as to where my heart really lies. The house pretty much seems like a mountain lodge on the inside--even to the skis, snowshoes, and toboggan that decorate the ceiling of the great room. Five and a half years here has been enough--I'm really hoping the move back out there comes about.

Spotted a red 2nd Gen in my mirror on Arapahoe Rd. Monday morning. You turned on Buckley. Had the TDR badge in the grill and 3 gauges on the pillar. I was in the Red 3rd Gen. I have the TDR hitch cover and the Calvin peeing on the 6. 0L Powerstroke in my rear window.

See ya around.

I passed someone in a 2nd generation towing a 5th wheel east of Gunnison on Monday. I delivered a trailer out there over the weekend and was coming home with a load of hay.

I saw a black 2500 with "TowRig.com" on the back window in Grand Lake today (Sat, 7/16). Were you a part of/ see the boat show? Those vintage wood boats were fun to watch.

Scott,

That was me. . we were up in Estes and heard about the boat show. What were you driving?

Did anyone in a white 2nd gen play with a silver Audi S4 the other day, up 285 from C-470 toward Aspen Park? That was my brother in the Audi and he told me about it. I thought I would ask!
