Howdy!
I was changing my oil today. I bought some oil from a Napa parts store, the only place that can get the Valvoline Premium Blue. I had about 3 qts of an older container that I dumped in first. Then I started adding the new stuff. Got about 3/4ths of the 2nd gallon jug of the stuff in when I noticed below where it says Valvoline Premium Blue, in smaller print it said, "2000 Synthetic Blend. " I thought the stuff was awful expensive, but my wife picked it up and paid for it.
I've got 21k+ miles on the truck and this will be the 1st sythetic it will see. I don't think I'll have any problem with either the sythetic stuff itself, or the blending of the pure mineral oil and the sythetic blend (especially since I'd say the mineral part of the synthetic blend is the exact same as the pure mineral oil). I was going to wait until 30,000 miles and then CONSIDER running Amsoil synthetics, but noooooo, the Napa guys tricked me.

Please give me your opinions. Do you think there is any problem with this?
