Did you go with the SAE bellhousing for any particular reason? I was kind of expecting a GM bellhousing when I opened the thread. I'm not real familiar with the 1000/2000/2400 trannys but I know that there are a multitude of shift programs for the larger versions. I used to work on fleet maintenance and we had 50 B400Rs and we went through several renditions on our trannys and they were pretty much all the same. Something as simple as a product upgrade on clutch material could require a program change.
We bought our coaches with 4 speeds when we still had a 55 mph speed limit, and the engines would reach max rpm @ 55 mph. The state bumped
up the speed limit to 65 mph so we went into the ECU and enabled 5th gear then we had to limit road speed through program change.
Nice looking job on the conversion, did you do any before testing so that you can do an after comparo.
