Valve adjustment really needed

Exhaust Whistle???

I've been getting the P2121 code for awhile now, did the obvious and replaced the pedal but it came back. Today I decided to dig into it with an article I found to check the voltage.
With my scan tool the voltage is within spec at all tests however when I go under the hood and wiggle the big harness up by the firewall the voltage readings on apps start bouncing and check engine chime starts going crazy. It seems to be the wires that go down towards the engine and trans. I wiggled the wires down by the ECM but didn't notice any jumps in the voltage readings or the check engine chime.
I guess it's time to disconnect that harness and inspect the wires.

Connection may need to be taken apart and cleaned up. Something that we all over look is that the wiring connections need some service to! Add some dielectric grease upon re-connection. Sounds like it didn't take too long to find issue. Now just the time to R&R. Good luck.

Well I disconnected the harness and cut back about 2 feet of the plastic wire protector and inspected all the wires with my flashlight. I couldn't find anything wrong with them.
I then took some electric connection cleaning spray and cleaned out both ends of the plugs. Looked for bad pins but everything looked good so I decided to route that bundle of wires so they come up in front of my cat fuel filter, plugged It back in and made sure it was a tight connection. Turned the truck to on and then I went back and wiggled the wires and plug, this time I didn't get any weird voltage spikes on the apps or check engine chimes... Fingers crossed on this one
