Assuming you checked your bulbs? Usually a fast blinker indicates a bad bulb somewhere. Try using the good bulbs you have to get one side going, and go from there.

Use a wire wire brush to clean contacts and use dielctric grease on all the connections to get a good water proof contact.

The reverse lights is probably the switch is bad and probably isn't related. I had a similar issue when I had my 94. I had changed the flasher and the one the parts guy gave me was light duty and when I plugged in my trailer I had FBS. i went and got a heavy duty flasher and this solved the problem. So maybe a new new flasher.

alright i have tryed both new thermal and mechanical flashers, checked all the bulbs they all work and still got the FBS its driving me nuts
