FOG LAMPS ON 98 AND EARLIER TRUCKS WITH AUTOMATICS

For you dodge owners 98 and earlier you can have factory fog lamps.
When I orderd my truck new they told me that I couldn't get them because of the AT.
Then in 99 I saw a 2500 with AT that had fog lamps. And they couldn't tell me why the 99 was able to have them and the same truck in a 98 (only diff was 3500)couldn't have them I wouldn't except that I couldn't have those fog lamps on my 98. 5.
So I orderd the factory lites and with help instaled them myself. Getting the bumpper back on strait was the hardies part.

Yes, I installed the Mopar parts kit on the '97 3500 auto trans I used to have. The bumper is a bear to get straight when doing the job by yourself. I had to use several jack stands and blocks of wood. Looks just like factory when you are done.

My '00 3500 6 Spd. has then from the factory. I made sure of that when I ordered the truck.

20 fan. What all did you buy other than the lights. Did you get a normal toggle switch or incorporate it into the headlight switch. I want to do the same myself. If I can ask what was your cost??

Justbeamn. All you do is get the fog lamp package from Dodge. You will get every thing you need !!!

Try your dealer first for best price. Then go to www.mopar4less.com and see what their price is.

This is a Dodge dealer in New Mexico on their web site they will have a 800 # for you to call. You can do this yourself but you will need help with the bumper use a level when you put the bumper back on

Yeah, the bumper is the hardest part... TOo bad I didn't know that when I did the fogs on my 98. 5... I had to hold it up with one hand, and put 2 bolts in with the other. Man, the expletives were flyin' that day! *LOL*

Talked to Mopar4less and they said the reason that they are not on the AT is for clearence. They will fit but if you ever need to chande the bulbs, you have limited access. BUT THEY WILL FIT/WORK. #ad

Yes the space is limited but not to bad I have had to change one and need to change the other one right now. It helps to have small hands.
Do you have a picture of the custom dually flaps I would like to see them
