Does anyone know if someone makes a bolt on reciever hitch to mount to the front of a 4wd 3500 '05' ctd? I have a brush/grill guard on the truck, but can't imagine it being a problem, since it bolts to the tow hook mounts. Thanks in advance for any help.

Reese makes one... I had it on my 02 3500 4wd... Cant be sure but I think I paid around $200 for it. Install was a piece of cake.

Oops I misunderstood you, thought you were looking for one that attached in the towhook holes. I reread and see you want something lower... the bodiak unit won't so you any good... sorry bout that.

Sould of bought a real brush guard that already has a front reciever.

I bought a WARN trans4mer set up and loved it.

Problem is the biggest winch cradle someone makes will only hold a 9,500lb winch which isnt enough to get our trucks unstuck.

I had a Hidden Hitch front-mounted receiver installed on my 2004 2500 Quad Cab 4wd. The install was straight forward (bolt-on) with no modifications to the front bumper, etc. required.

Here is a link to the Hidden Hitch site:

Of the available front Reveiver Mounts, is there one that mounts higher than the others? I would like the utility of a front mount, and the protection it would provide to the bottom of the intercooler, condensor, and radiator, but don't want to loose any more approach angle than necessary.

Thanks!

The bodiak mounts higher... on the tow hook mounts. www.bodiak.net

I would also be interested in one that mounts up close to the bumper. Approach angle is important as I already left my air dam and license plate in a dry creek bed in Montana. (Out scouting for prairie dogs) :-laf

Brista,

Thank you! The Bodiak looks like a great add... receiver in front, real front protection..... shouldn't be too hard to add something to protect the bottom of the radiator.

Thanks again,

Mickey

Just got off the phone with Warn,They said they do not make a front hitch for an 06,said they (dodge) changed the front end 2 times this year and only offer one for up to 05 :(
