I can't complain too bad at just $2. 38/gal. here, but that is still unreasonably priced IMHO. QUOTE]

This is EXACTLY what we all will be saying in a few months... . when the oil thieves roll back the prices a few cents we will all be thrilled because we are paying less at $2. 75 a gallon!!!

I bought my truck in July of 2000 and diesel was right at a buck a gallon... $3. 00 a gallon today

Time to get rid of some politicians and get someone in there who will make oil & fuel a regulated industry.

Be careful what you wish for. There are a number of politicians who believe super high fuel prices are the cure not the problem. They are happy when fuel prices go through the roof because they believe it will result in less driving, therefore less air pollution, and that high fuel prices will force buyers into smaller more efficient vehicles.

If things weren't already bad enough shouldn't we be expecting another jump in diesel prices soon when they phase in ultra low sulfur fuel?

The sudden dramatic price increases must have a major negative impact on the overall economy but I don't hear the major fuel users complaining hardly at all.

You are right... I have not heard one thing from the OTR guys about this raping!! I would love to see them park there trucks at the CA border and tell their customers to come get their stuff because they refuse to drive in this state.

One freakin refinery has problems and the price o diesel goes up $. 30 overnight... . sorry, that is just greed and it is Bull S*&^%

Just think what the high cost of fuel will do to the economy? I for one will not give up my ride but I have given up extra big boy toys :{ and dinners out ect the trickle down effect. now mabe since it costs so mich to cruise around town the kids might stay home and talk to their parents more :--) :{ naw what am I thinking the parents mostly are worse than the kids.

You guys in California and other West coast states should be more upset with CARB than you are.

Sure, one refinery has a problem, that problem means they can not produce any diesel. No problem, just get the fuel from other places. Oh wat, you can't because the diesel fuel produced at those other states do not meet CARB standards for diesel fuel. That means there are but a couple of refineries that produce Low Aromatic Diesel and one of them had a fire in the crude unit that resulted in a complete shutdown of all distillate products.

Just got back from picking up my truck in Sacramento and fuel was $3. 10/gal up there, down here in southern Cal, it's just under $3. 00/ gal.

You're right and it's the same way with gasoline in California!

Nationwide it'l be close to $3. 00 a gallon by Sept 1 Calf. will be close to $4. 00/gallon Thankyou WalMart and China

Denny

$3. 15 per gallon in Pamona this weekend, $2. 90 @ my local fillemup here in Castaic. But do not fear CARB standards are headed to the other 49 very soon. Gonna have to start filling up at the local Chinese restaurant with the help of the above post, if it works.

Fuel Prices are Higher Here

Local Exxon here today is $3. 029. With oil closing at $64. 00 a barrel today its only going higher. :(
