I'm thinking of replacing my DD2's with a set of Don M 1. 5's, to try to get better milage. I'm also running a DD TTPM.

The best milage I ever saw was 20. 3, corrected for my 285 tires. That was with the TTPM but before I installed the DD2's. Since the 2's went in I haven't been over 18. I know some of that is my right foot, but 3 mpg for the 2's?

What kind of milage are people getting with the 1. 5's?

This is in a 4x4 H. O. with 3. 54 gears.

I was getting anywhere between 19. 4 and 23. 5 on level ground empty my truck weighs 7840 with me in it, and the 80 gallon aux. fuel tank.

Tcolesanti,

What kind of improvement did you get with the 1. 5's vs what you were getting before the install? Did you change anything else or are the #'s you have a true apples-to-apples comparison?

I'm just as interested as jmeehan.

With the VA box and stock injectors I got a little better mileage on just flat ground. Now with the EDM's I am getting the same on rolling terrain and better on level ground. The cruise control is a bit abrupt with the injectors if that means anything. This was a true apples to apples comparison I always put the tach on 2000rpm and it yields 77mph with the 315 pro comps. I did not change anything else when I did my injector swap.
