The Night before Christmas

Like "rolling coal" ??

Yesterday morning I was westbound on I-80 in the morning, coming down the Pequop mtns in NV out near the Utah line, right after sunup. There were orange barrels blocking off the slow lane, and there was a hybird car in the slow lane, stopped, with a woman taking a picture of the sunrise/clouds/mtns whatever. I gotta admit it was pretty beautiful... Anyways, after I went past she had to wait at least 5 minutes for the smoke to clear. I wonder if she got a red, muddy Dodge with smoke pouring outta the 5 inch tip in her picture. I would pay for that picture.

with it as hot as it is now everybody is getting nuked between the new and old shop when i am dragging the goose neck moving inventory to the new diggs 3 miles away, if i had to do this with hills id need to back down the cam plate or roast the engine, as i can hit 1250* before od without much trouble and i don't think my 3 year old BHAF is helping

Hard to believe it's been almost 7 years! Hehe, sorry I have been quiet, just had lots of things going on, and finally got the NV5600 fixed in Mighty Whitey, so we are back in smoke mode! Time to roll the coals!

Smoked out a Mustang GT convert. w/ nasty loud (think off-shore powerboat) exhaust coming off a light this morning... Good times.

7 yrs for this post and it took me quite some time to read it this morning 4 cups of coffee...

It's been a while Sled Puller... ... ... ... ... ..... winter is here and I plan to offend more greenies. I am wholly responsible for my irresponsiblities.

I really like this thread.

well, I sold Mighty Whitey, so BLACK BETTY is back to being the primary Smoke generator again!! Yay for mechanically made smoke!! Hahaha

I have two. I live in West Los Angeles, the home of the Prius. Most the time I keep the smoke turned down on my comp because I get tired of getting flipped off.
While driving on a two lane divided street a while back a vw bug, yellow with a flower in the flower holder and a guy driving, made a u turn in front of me causing me to slam on the brakes spilling my coffee. At the next intersection he went to turn left. this divided road only has room for one car so I pulled up next to him on the wrong side of the road, while turning my comp up to five which is set for fast throttle and BIG SMOKE. now mind you, my truck has 37" tires and a 4. 5" lift, my exhaust is at window level on a bug. did I mention it is warm here in S. C. and people drive with their windows down all the time?
So I see a break in the traffic and jump it, he was starting to roll too, when I got through the intersection I looked in the mirror and he was stopped in the middle of the intersection getting honked at by the oncoming traffic, I think he had a visibility problem.
Hate to stereotype but there is a certain segment of our population that seems to think walking as slow as possible in the crosswalk while someone waits to make a right turn is funny, maybe if they walk faster those pants will fall off. This is a regular for me, I routinely leave them in a big cloud of black smoke.
Love my truck.

Just wanted to say Happy 8th Birthday (a week ago) to this thread! 1,650+ posts, still going strong!! Black Betty is back; been on a hiatus since early this year... got the dash put in, looks great. . just took her around the neighborhood, blowing smoke-- Ahh, it felt dang good to see black clouds again!!! I never thought this thread I started would go this long, but its awesome! Keep the posts coming!

This is quite impressive. Oo.

You deserve a bug round of applause for your more than manly efforts in showing the public just how childish some Ram drivers can be.

Way to go big guy!
