My Story for the day...



I was coming back to the house from being in town today, and I noticed a good looking '03 ISB-E driving like an idiot trying to get up on the side of me to show me his 305 stock HP... . He gets on my back fender and punches it. Wow. I was impressed. Well, lanes open up, and he is wanting to race... Dumb@ss! I took his little offer, smoked the whole highway, looked back, and noticed him trying to catch up about a ¼ mile back... He caught up to me, looked at my truck, as if to size it up and down, and waved. . I guess he thought he was the new boss of the road, till I showed him the smoke was HP smoke, not old worn out truck smoke. That's ok, I am sure he will think twice next time!

I was talking about my post on missing my #10. It has sat in my toolbox @ home since I burned up that clutch in July. I'm running a OEM take out that BMD gave me to hold me over till March. Then HOPEFULLY I'm getting a Haisley Machine HMR Street PullerOo. Oo. Oo.



And when I get the extra $$ (no time soon) I've got some HX40 parts to rebuild into a turbo!Oo.

Chris I would hardly call the Haisley-McLeod Street puller a "rinky dink clutch"



We watch a guy sled pull all the time in KY that has one in a 500-600HP 2500 and always place in the top 5!!



The street puller is also a DUAL DISK. Don't get me wrong I know South Bend makes great street clutches, but they don't have anything that is proven on the sleds yet and I plan on hook'n to a sled a few times next year.

I don't know how it happens, but the two or three times I got some death wobble, the stack would turn a few degrees.



I was hoping I would have enough smoke for people not to notice.



Guess I need more smoke?



Well, too bad, I'm slowly turning that smoke into power.

After experiencing death wobble in my truck with just 33's & Skyjacker D25 springs I don't even wanna imagine death wobble in "Stack'd-N-Jack'd" :--) :--) :--) :--)

Well, my 1,000th post... what better place to post it, but on the thread I started!

So here goes nothing!

I did not expect this thread to go this far, and appreciate all the replies, both good and bad...



Now, for the daily smoke story.



I got to race a new '04 F-150 tonight. . yeah, the pansy @ss ones like in the commercials that race the Hemi. . Talk about weak! this dude was riding my ass, and finally I got tired of it, and smoked him so bad, his lights turned brown... I love that image in my rear view. It is an auto dimming rear view, so it changes quite a bit, as it gets confused with the headlights darkening, and then getting light again. . Anyways, so we get to a light on the highway. . he is power braking, trying to act like a hard@ss. . so I just simply spool it up to ~2200 RPM, drop it in 3rd for a fast launch. . light goes green, and no competition. . I am pulling on his lame truck the whole time. after we get to the city limit sign, he backs off... I slow down to like 50 to see if he wants #2. . nope. he really backs off, and wont even get like 200 feet from me! guess he wont do that again!



Well, I just wanted to make this my 1,000th post... Hope y'all enjoy!

Yea I had one of those @ss riders the other morning, here I was going to work speeding in the fast lane, drinking my coffee and minding my business and I look up, there she was on my bumper so I burp it in valet and only slightly cover her up..... Air Force Chic, after she got around me, in sign language told me I was #1... ... . I smiled and said... ... . thanks babe! (Should have been in full fuel mode)

While driving to work today i cam up to a 1st gen at a light he motioned to run em so i was like ok. . Put the comp on kill. We take of making the entire intersection disappear. We pull up to the next light shoot the ****. Look I'm my rear view mirror see a feller getting out of his Monte carlo walking up. . He said to both of us "Does it mean it runs like **** if it smokes" then proceeds to reach in my truck after me. I reach under my seat for my opossum killer. Not knowing what hes going to do as soon as he sees it he backs off and goes back to his car...

I got to race a Camaro SS tonight... amazingly I kept up with him, or vise versa. . however you want to say it. I was like, damn! Not too shabby... Just about 30 min ago, I was on the way home froma concert. little chevy Z-71 with some Kmart Cowboys in there wants to ride my @ss... . ok, I belch out a nasty cloud in 3rd gear... they disappear, and I get the left lane to the red light. . light goes green, I am lagging in 3rd (remember, Lag is a friendly head start for the no competition cars), truck tries to come around me, and BOOM!!!! there's the sweet spot on the boost!!!! I am off like a prom dress, rowing through 3rd, 4th, and 5th... as I get into the turn lane, I see 2 sets of hands out the window, one waving, the other giving me a thumbs up... Dumbass..... should have known better than to race a BOMB'd truck! Guess they will know next time, eh?
