Well, after a good one-way screaming session, my soldier went back to the Ford dealership and, with the help of another soldier who used to do the financing for a dealership, took the car back. TX state law says you have 72 hrs to change your mind. They tried to strong-arm him, but he got his truck back.
The next morning, he came into class and thanked me for saving him from a huge car payment for a crappy car. I told him no problem, and I will do everything I can to help him install the new VP44 and LP, once he buys them. He's going with MWFI and their package deal. He can't afford the FASS package, due to his rank, and frankly I'd rather see him get the AirDog anyway. FASS is good, but IMO AirDog is quieter.
So now, for me, it's a waiting game. Once we settle on our house next month, I can start hunting for a '03-'05 3500 4x4 Auto Laramie w/heated seats.
