Buddy of mine I race with has a crew member that just picked up an '07 with 9 miles on it for 24k... . 2 WD, regular cab, 6. 7, G56, all power goodies ( windows, locks, cruise, etc. ) Then they gave him $10k trade on a POS Dakota he was driving !!! Might have to go see if they have anymore lying around out back !!

My student, who was having VP44 issues, traded his '01 2500 2wd NV4500 for a 2008 Ford Fusion this weekend..... he owed $9500 on his truck, his payments were $400/mo. This little piece of crap he just bought is costing him $26,000 and his payments are $450/mo now.

I told him, "I can't, by Army regulations, call you stupid, however what you did was beyond retarded".

And the kicker is that he was happy about the trade!!!!

Of course, if you look at my sig, I feel like the pot calling the kettle black... . my situation will be resolved, though, after we buy our house in two months.

I wonder what's worse... buying a ferd 6. o-no or a GM 6. 5? I feel your pain, I have the 6. 5 I plan to add another 12 valve to my diesel collection

Ever since the gas prices went crazy, I've seen a lot of Ford and Chevy diesels up for sale in my area. No Dodges though. Gas prices or not, they'll get my Cummins/Dodge when they pry my cold, dead hands from around it! The wife feels the same way about hers too!

Well, after a good one-way screaming session, my soldier went back to the Ford dealership and, with the help of another soldier who used to do the financing for a dealership, took the car back. TX state law says you have 72 hrs to change your mind. They tried to strong-arm him, but he got his truck back.

The next morning, he came into class and thanked me for saving him from a huge car payment for a crappy car. I told him no problem, and I will do everything I can to help him install the new VP44 and LP, once he buys them. He's going with MWFI and their package deal. He can't afford the FASS package, due to his rank, and frankly I'd rather see him get the AirDog anyway. FASS is good, but IMO AirDog is quieter.

So now, for me, it's a waiting game. Once we settle on our house next month, I can start hunting for a '03-'05 3500 4x4 Auto Laramie w/heated seats.
